ABOUT
me
I’m Fiona, a BACP registered Psychodynamic Counsellor, running a private practice near Colchester, Essex.
I had my first experience of therapy in my late 30’s, while going through a difficult time in my personal life. It helped me find clarity in the chaos of my thoughts and emotions, whilst sowing the seed of curiosity about who I really am, that led me to this moment and where I planned to go next.
At 39, I went back to university to learn all I could about the human mind and how we develop as individuals and within families. In an ideal world, we would all be given the gift of therapy for our 18th birthday, but in reality, it is a journey that usually stems from crisis.
